***The Official Golota Express! Bowe-Golota II - 19 years ago today***

On that photo Golota looks like a monster. It was his prime time, 13 years ago. I think that after fight with Lewis Golota was never the same again, dont You think?

 

Unfortunately, Adamek's apology was only a PR stunt. He never contacted AG to apologize. If he really wanted to smooth things over he would've called and not posted it on his blog. You think AG reads Adamek's blog?

 

We have a winner in Adamek. I think he's more interesting to talk about than washed up Golota. Don't you think?

 

Thats a bull**** man:-( ,im sorry but adamek haters made that up and some ppl like u believed,after the fight Adamek went to golotas corner to shake his hand and thank for the fight but unfortunately golota ignored him and showed him his back(i dont blame him tho he was shocked and pissed) THEN adamek went to that corner to celebrate with the fans as he was already in there..., watch it on youtube its all there ,recorded.

 

I've watched the fight a couple of times now and from what I saw Adamek NEVER went to Golota to show respect. The only time he went to him was when he brushed up beside him, passed him up and gloated on the ropes. Golota's wife apparently noticed this as well and gave Adamek an ear full. Maybe he did try to shake Golota's hand and the cameras didnt show it but from what I've seen he never did that at any point. BTW I am not an Adamek hater, I just didnt like seeing him beat on a shot version of Golota and then not showing respect. All this after it was Adamek who apparently ruined the friendship by talking about Golota's whores. Golota tried to help Adamek before his career really took off and was there to console him after he lost to Dawson. It's left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth about Adamek but there's always two sides to every story and Golota is a well known nutjob anyway so who the hell knows. Hopefully they'll patch the friendship and both move on.

 

Man ,watch it again precisely , seriously the moment when adamek goes to golota u can see by his body language that he wants to show respect and hug golota But Andrew turns around and pretends like he doesnt exist, so Adamek taps him on the back and jumps on the ropes , as it takes two to tango. and btw is golota well known for afterfight huggin? i wouldnt say so. like i said earilier i dont blame ANdrew for ignoring adamek that time since i can imagine how shocked and pissed he was especially after all that traschtalk from both sides , but Adamek DID try...

I vaguely remember Golota listed as number 3 on some boxing rankings (can't remember which) just after the Bowe fights.

Golota was always a top 5 talent but never a complete fighter due to mental issues. All these years later and I still can't help but think what a ****ing goddamn waste of talent.


I was watching Golota-Grant recently. This was Golota's last fight in his physical prime (after this, car accident). That jab.....was a torpedo it was. Powerful and stiff. He messed up Grant's face with that jab alone. He was never the same after the car accident.

 

That Golota is a ***** monger is totally believable. I heard from more than one fan in NY and Chicago that he's seen around screwing with ugly women. The lesson is: If you're married don't have whores around a straight up, religious guy like Adamek, or else he will call you on it.:smoke

 

I believe this. It's more consistent with how Adamek typically behaves after a fight.

 

How do you get all these distinguished guests to your show so often, given your limited resources? Do you hit them up on myspace or something? Your lineup can compete with ESPN for christ's sake. P.S. Please ask Hopkins and Bernstein about their thoughts on Adamek being a HW. Also ask Hopkins whether there's any remaining prospects for a fight between them.

 

Yeah, cause blabbing to a media outlet where Golota's kids could find out is virtue.

And he didnt call Golota on it, he said it behind his back. And when Golota called Adamek on it, Adamek backpedaled, from what I understand.

 

You reap what you sow. And I don't even know whether that story is true. ics

 

:good U wouldnt believe how many ppl on polish forums after this fight wish Adamek would die in tribulations , they re even more depressed than Golota express.
