Why the dislike by some for Pacman?

IMO Pac is a great ambassador for the game

 

its not manny the people dislike, its roaches sometimes absurd comments as well as the leechs on pacs team.

pacs a great fighter/guy

roach is a great trainer, but he needs to hush a bit

heres the most common reasons that i encounter:


- when you are that good, some people would want to see you go down for some reason.

- fans that go overboard (shits on current/past great boxers just to elevate his status)

- coach that trash talks a lot, other people interprets it as pac "himself" is talking trash.

- has beaten a certain boxer/about to fight a boxer and the fan of pac's opponent starts do dislike him (it drives some fans crazy)

 

The more success you have the more people will hate you. I think he should get really worried when no one out there really hates him anymore.

Its the same with everyone who has success. PBF, De la Hoya, the Klitchskos, and Roy when he was on top. Its part of the game. Pac could beat up God tomorrow and he'll be accused of beating someone who was past his prime after the seventh day. Its just how it goes.

Cuz he has beat so many great fighters that the fans of those fighters wants to see him lose. Look at some of the hatton fans wanting cotto to win cuz pac KTFO hatton.
