Joshua Clottey...what a fool!

Apparently Josh "stingy with his output" Clottey turned a Paul Williams fight down because he wants "more time" and "the money isn't good". First of all this "more time/full training camp" **** is simply a mirage imo. Unfortunately Boxing is not the lead sport it was in the US like 75 years ago. There is an early December date to be made and this douche bag is talking about an extended camp like the network will actually wait on his boring and ear muff shell style lol! Only in America like DK says or in this case, "only in Ghana"! Who needs anything when you have Josh Turtle Shell Clottey to watch lol!

I understand him not wanting to move up in weight just to take a beating, but "the money isn't good enough"? How much is Josh making for a fight nowadays? How much did he make in the Cotto fight? Where and against who does he stand to make more money against?

It amazes me how Clottey prices himself out of a relevant fight as if he actually won the Cotto fight...LOL as if he stepped on the gas to lift the WBO strap and didn't f*ck around with shell inactivity fighting maybe 45 seconds (tops) of any given round. I'll never forget Top Rank reigning him back in after some internet comments against Paul. This is comical to me: $650k offer, turns it down and doesn't even counteroffer lol! I smell...I smell...I smell p***y!

Another thing, In this instance Paul Williams is the "star" and unlike Pavlik, Clottey has no right to demand parity. He has waited around for 2 missed 160 championship fights and is HBO's last man standing. There is a date, venue, location etc. established so Paul Williams moves into the cat bird's seat as the featured attraction. Sure the gate drops with no Staphboy and his nation of rust belt minions but it is what it is. And no turtle shell 147er who blew his Cotto moment deserves anything more that 1/3. Scale 154, take a leaf outta your countrymens books (Ike and Azumah) rehydrate and good luck vs. 82" wingspan. Did I mention, good luck?
