Maybe I'll fork out that and skip Cotto v Pacquiao the following day...

Sounds a wise move. That Manny Whatshisname is never in a good fight.

The N'dou v Hatton fight should be on Fox Sports. It's an absolute disgrace IMO.

You know what's sad about this whole ppv thing Ippy?

Show me where this fight has been advertised or marketed. I bet their is a bunch of hard core fans unaware Ndou is even fighting. Is Ndou involved in any marketing of this fight besides having his picture used as a graphic on main event? I'm tipping NO. I'm yet to see an in depth article on the net about the fight.

If they want people to buy...sell the ****ing thing! Don't just put an 15 sec add on the mainevent channel two weeks before the fight and ask subscribers to order it for $30.

The price? a friggin joke. But again, it shows how arrogant they are by expecting viewers to pony up with the cash whilst they do **** all to promote it.

You guys have it rough. Leon was saying in another thread you guys have to pay for all our free HBO and Showtime broadcasts, too?

****, people in the U.S. would probably ***** about N'dou vs. Hatton on a PPV undercard. :yep

    Can we all do it?

In all seriousness, we in this forum should work towards doing things that support or promote boxing in this country. I know some people here are 'insiders' you could say - i dunno, there's gotta be something!

Exactly mate. I went over to the Main Event website and that's how I found it. I was actually checking to see what time the Cotto v Pac event started. I was like "WTF???" when I saw it.

The funny thing is, Fox Sports used to show some great fights FOR FREE. I've said it a few times on here I know, but I remember that Benn v Collins II, Holyfield v Czyz-Lennox Lewis v Ray Mercer and Moorer v Schulz (IBF Heavyweight title with Mike McCallum and Zeljko Mavrovic on the u/card) FOR FREE. Even then it's not free, but you get my drift.

If they were asking something reasonable for this fight, like an extra $10 when you order Cotto v Pac or something, it would make a whole lot of sense. Arrogance like you said mate.

    Absolute joke no doubt.
I dont mind Main Event having 1 or 2 Boxing PPV's a month when the matches are worthy but stuff like N'Dou vs Hatton should be on FOX Sports, as well as most of the HBO & Showtime cards which are non-PPV in USA.

Total bull****. Do they honestly expect anyone to fork out $50 on a B grade fight. Even the hardcore fans won't buy this one.

Yep... Any HBO or Showtime broadcast we are lucky enough to be shown, is a PPV event. Mind you most of them are $39.95

The mega events like Pacquiao Cotto are $49.95 here. The ones like Dawson V Johnson are shown for $39.95

And that isnt the HBO or Showtime broadcast either. Just the fight. None of the extras you guys are shown like punchstats, HBO or Showtime commentary team and sometimes we dont get post fight interviews.
