People sometimes are jumping with conclusions too fast, Adamek did what
he usually do best and Golota did worse than ever in terms of fight preparation.

After this fight the only what changed is that Adamek got more confidence
and Golota somehow lost what he had left. But in the future this change
not much, Adamek may meet Tua next and get KOed like a John Ruiz, while
Golota may get back to shape in the next 3 months and beat the crap of Valuev.

Who gives a ****? You don't break the code of silence to trouble your neighbor's family and brag about being roman catholic.

This is total rubbish. I went to see Adamek fight Gunn and I'm totally impressed with him overall, as many boxing fans on this forum are, and I've been impressed for quite some time. Let's not mix "kumple" loyalty issues with boxing.

I wonder why all this old **** is being dug up now? Convinient timing, don't you think?

My advice is to accept this defeat and quit trying to find a target for your anger.

My comment was referred to those die hards in the Polish forums who are digging up old drama and making up other ****, to try and heal their wounds.

I hate seeing Golota go out like this.....:-(

I almost wish he'd fight a bum as a farewell fight.

I disagree. He earned a big pay cheque, got more media attention and officially passed on the torch to a fellow Pole. Its a meaningful ending, all in all.

The media killed Golota. When he came into the Bowe fight he could give a **** about anything. Look at his emotionless face.

I wonder if all the punches throughout his career weakened his tolerance, because his neck looks stout.

Only reason I brought up the old beef was due to the way Adamek acted after the fight by not showing Golota respect. Had I saw Adamek attempt to at least shake Golota's hand, I would have nothing to say about it. But it showed a clear pattern of a shithead.

But like I said, I dont know the full story and perhaps Adamek did try to give respect to Golota and I just missed it.

I'm sure that's the case. He's been in there with some of the biggest punchers like Bowe, Tyson, Lewis, Brewster. Ray Mercer was known for having one of the greatest chins but age changed all that for him too.

On the other hand I'm not sure that's true. Lewis got flattened by Rahman and couldn't even recover. Whenever Andrew got hit or bombed he's always up on the count of one, unless he's hit with numerous bombs time after time. I think if he started a strict training program he would be able to tighten up that neck, and loosen those legs.

    The reality is here:

Adamek is in his prime, Golota is not ... thats all true.
Adamek still can rule out the division and probably knock out everybody
after he reach his 230lb ... Golota never dominated division and never will.
Today's Adamek is a bad matchp-up for Golota due to speed, accuracy and good power.

but ... there are some but's

Golota may be able (or maybe not) to get back to pre Austin form ...
which is crappy comparing to his prime, but it is still OK to beat some #10-15
contenders and he may be still competitive against as slow as him Valuev.

So even if Golota will not be able to beat Adamek or will never be able
to dominate division he may still chance to win the title ... technically
that is as much delusional as saying that Adamek would beat Vitaly or Wlad.

Of course there is big if ... is Golota able to get down to 240 lb, improve
his focus, and work on some fight strategy ... that just a question?
