What was the cause of the Barrera-Morales Feud?

    I liked Morales more, Barrera always was a jerk off in and out of the ring. More classless that Morales could ever be.

    Not at all, you show him respect, you'll get respect back. Morales is real classy. Posing over one of his opponents after knocking him out for pictures. Real classy. Throwing water over Marco's father. Again, really classy.

    Yes, I realize that.

    The only reason why Morales didn't win the rubber match was because he chose to dispense with the boxing and fight Barrera's fight.

    Morales had little trouble, IMO, out-boxing Marco when he chose to box instead of fight...

    They already make peace with each other on one of the WBC's conventions ,if they really meant it i dont know.

    Yes, this was the start of the rivalry. They were playing in the soccer game for a PR/charity thing and EM got angry at MAB because he thought he was playing too rough. He told MAB that if he kicked him again he was going to punch MAB, so naturally Marco ran over and kicked him again. That was the beginning of it.

    Marco has class, but he won't take any **** from anyone, and he addresses the issue on the spot. McKinney talked ****, he got punched at a press conference. EM called him a ***, he got punched. When it comes to Marco, if you don't start none there won't be none. If Duran acted the way Marco did people would love it, never understood the MAB hate but I think it's a class thing. MAB is clearly middle/upper class and it shows. People with no class are just going to hate him, and that's all there is to it.

    Many times a fighter does so to hype himself up for his greatest challenges.

    Michael Jordan often made up comments supposedly said by opponents in order to hype himself up for a game.

    Barrera felt he was robbed in the 1st fight
    Barrera blamed Morales and called him an Indio
    Morales called Barrera a rich *****
    Barrera suckered punch Morales in a press conference
    Morales felt he was robbed in the 2nd fight
    They both referenced each other as HBO protected fighters
    Morales threw a water bottle at Barrera's dad
    Barrera clearly wins the 3rd match and gloats about it to Morales
    Morales called Barrera a motha F*******
