Tua against Byrd was a borefest, Wlad gave us two masterpieces against Byrd. Tua against Lewis was a borefest, Vitali against Tua was awesome

RJJ is the greatest athletic talent in boxing history, of course he has an entertainment value that noone can copy. I find effective fighters like the Klitschkos interesting. Just because you can't appreciate an effective fighters whoes style isn't flashy, that doesn't mean that every boxing fan on the planet perfers an ear-biting, arm-breaking, self - destructing ****** over classy, charitable, highly porfessional athletes.

    :patsch

    tua/arreola
    haye/adamek
    haye/arreola
    tua/peter
    peter/arreola

all of these could bring some interest back to boxing instead. but the klitschkos are singlehandedly (or doublehandedly) killing boxing because they're matched up against clearly inferior opponents and rather than knock them out in 1-2 rounds and generate some excitement in the division, they put in performances like wlad vs. rahman, thompson, and ibragimov. pathetic.

sorry CHEF, but that's the truth. if the klitschkos were as exciting as you claim, there would be more interest in the heavyweight division.

pacquiao speaks english just as well as the klitschkos and pac has brought in more fans to boxing than both klitschkos combined as well as gets a lot of national coverage for his fights.

do you know why? it boils down to the fact that:

pac is exciting. the klitschkos aren't.

sellouts EVERYWHERE they fight (usually in days, sometimes hours) including 60,000 seat stadiums. I think plenty are interested

and dont try and say "Haye sold 60,000" I saw the numbers...after Haye pulled out. 56 tickets were returned ONLY 56!!!!!

they sell out everywhere they fight in germany. i'd like to see wlad try to sell out MSG again after the ibragimov debacle.

that is, if the people running MSG even want wlad back.:lol:

i still remember the rain of boo's that fell on wlad ever since round 1. new yorkers aren't dumb enough to buy tickets to see wlad fight again.

If Wlad or Vitali fights at the Garden I'll fly back to NY just for that fight. Well maybe I'll visit my sister & brother while I'm there but I'll be going to see the fight.

I think that the Klitschko lack "drama" in their fights ... they are head and shoulders above the large marjority of the HW division. They haven't been in too many competetive fights since their recent reign ... and don't have exciting personalities ... they just win technically and systematically.

Until someone kicks their asses there will be no drama in the HW division.
