Of course they will. Hatton was supposed to destroy pacquiao, that was the consensus on these boards before the fight. Pacquiao destroys hatton and people say he lost his punch resistance, he was never good to begin with etc etc. If manny defeats cotto the same people will say cotto was never that good to begin with, he was ruined by margarito etc etc. Floyd should forget about trying to please everyone. He should take the fights he wants to.

Wow, Floyd sure gets a lot of hate. That RA the rugged had him cornered, he knows the history but he ain't a boxer, he doesn't know what it feels to get hit in the face. Talk is easy.

Is easy to say fight this boxer, or that one or the other when you ain't the one fighting. Boxing is a job and Floyd works where there is more money. I think it is a matter of perspective, because if RA the rugged where in Floyd shoes, or anyone, probably would be doing the same thing Floyd is. Less risk more money.

 

Im pretty sure if mayweather-marquez was more competitive people would say he legitimately beat a great fighter. Mayweather maybe just too good for his own good.
