I agree. Now quit giving us Glenn Johnson or Tonio Tarver IV or VIII or whatever and get in the game.

I'd say he could beat them all except maybe Abraham. King Arthur is one mean german beast.

Why? He doesn't have great KO power, he can get hit, does get hit and does get hurt. He is a great fighter and I do like him. He is a LHW which does give him an advantage;especially since a lot of the SUper 6 fighters are basically middleweights that moved up recently. However I think AA could send him out cold by the late rounds. Dawson gasses a bit and if he slips, he will get KO'ed. Plus Dawson needs to get by 40 year old Johnson first. I think that is going to be a competitive fight.

Johnson has already shown that Dawson is beatable. Johnson is very good, but isn't great.

    Plus Dawson may be drained.

He would have a good chance of winning, but saying it is a certainty is ignoring the facts.

imo Dawson's underrated on this board, but thats partly his own fault. Beating Adamek is huge!

Beating Adamek has gotten better the more Adamek has gone on to achieve, but I saw plenty of limitations in Dawson when he faced Johnson. Kessler and Ward are fantastic talents in their own right, and would pose many a threat to Chad Dawson.

If Dawson can make the weight comfortably, I agree hed wipe the floor with Froch and Outbox Abarham.

you may be right, I totally underestimated Dirrell before the Froch fiasco.

I totally like Dawson but as good as he is, you still can't overlook his weak chin and his concentration problems. He also tends to fight in spurts. Fighters with heavy punches (Abraham, Froch, CW Adamek) may be able to light him up and pressure figters may also have a chance to win. Having said this, he'll still win 99% of fights against top comp. He's just that good. I would love to see him against another crafty, fast and talented boxer like Bute.

    I think so too.

But he needs to fight some decent opposition. Johnson is pushing 40 now too.

An Adamek rematch for a second division title would be great. As would a fight with the S6 winner.

Dirrell is underrated and Froch is maybe the most overrated fighter in boxing today.
