Froch has done the ground work though. Wins against Pascal, Taylor, and Dirrell look very good on paper.

It looks good on paper but i thought Dirrell won easily,He pulled out a miracle against Taylor and was way behind against a faded Taylor. Froch will lose the rest of his fights in the tournament. "quote" me on that one.

Not now. I'll wait 2 c him AFTER Glen Johnson. GlenCoffe is an 'ok' measuring stik @ 40 yrs old. Once Bad Chad peaks and belives in himself...WATCH OUT!!

i agree, i'd say he makes ez work of them all outside of Abe, i mean.....i still think he wins but, Chad tends to cruise the later rounds and against a puncher like Abe it would be dangerous, but no more dangerous then the Adamek fight, so i still think he'd school him

I think Dawson will beat Johnson! But very foolish to count out the road warrior completely.. So be careful with threads like this!

Not much of a revelation, AT. Any athlete should be able to see he's far better overall than those guys. He'd destroy most of them.

Far too quick handed and talented for the slow ones. Far too quick handed, talented, and experienced for the rest.

If he could make 168 without chopping off a limb he'd have a good shot at knocking them all out.

Is this thread a joke?? I like Dawson but to think he'd destroy all at 168 is laughable, even if he could make the weight. Yes, he is a talented fighter, no doubt, but he does get lazy, he does get caught and he has a chin like a brandy snap. A weight drained Dawson will get a good nights sleep if he gets tagged by AA, JT or Kessler.

Kessler breaks him down and stops him late at 168.

Adamek was a shell of himself when he fought Dawson - he was not looking right at 175. It was a decent win for Dawson, but he got put on his arse late on. If Adamek had more steam at 175, he'd have given a much better account of himself.

Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps it's about time he tried to prove how good he is rather than fighting shot Tarver twice or struggling with old man Johnson.

Of all the fighters in history, I think Dawson has been placed on P4P lists more prematurely than anyone. And don't throw people like caballero back at me, he's in the rings list but not most boxing fans.

If he wasn't unbeaten and American, not one person would have Chad Dawson in their top 15 P4P.

Don't get me wrong he's talented, but still very unproven to me.

Tell me why he should be ranked over the Klits, Kessler, Abraham, Pavlik, Bradley, Soto, John, Guzman etc?? Please someone help because I don't understand it!!

At 175 he pastes them all the only thing Im leery about is Dawsons chin and his lack of devestating power which is why he currently is not a Superstar in many peoples eyes.

Which is funny on this forum where skill sets count for more than what a fighter actually accomplishes.
