all of over these sites are the same cotto stans predicting the same outcome. i think you guys need to make these threads to reinforce your beliefs that cotto is good enough to win. but really you know he is going to get KTFO.

This fight all depends on the Cotto that enters the ring come fight night, If it is a healthy Cotto then he will get in some nice shots probably to Pacquiao's body but Cotto takes too long to set up his power punches and Pac's movement will cause problems for Cotto. We might see Pacquiao get the better of Cotto early and maybe even Cut Cotto but I think Cotto can weather the storm but I do now honestly see Pacquiao beating him because there is certain things I have seen him do which are subtle but very effective, Cotto I feel will get his face swollen up like a beach ball, must to the same effect as Oscar's would have been had he not quit on his stool. I am by no means a *******, far from it but this fight has Pacquiao winning all over it, Cotto I feel wont be 100% at 145lbs, that's just my personal opinion and out of all the southpaws that Cotto could have faced Pacquiao is going to be his worst knightmare and I see him getting stopped in an epic battle where both men might hit the deck

Especially after watching 2nd episode of 24/7 I stand by my assessment that Pacquiao is given too much capital in the welterweight division going against a tested true welterweight champ.

Pacquiao is not, will not and cannot win against Cotto on the 14th....
He is going to get royally starched.
Hats off to him for his previous accomplishments but in this one he bit off more than he can chew. Roach sees it, but Manny believes his own hype that he is superman which will sadly inevitably come to an end on the 14th !!!

I'm not going anywhere....I just feel kind of bad for the Pac fans that look to him as an inspiration to live another day !!!

This mother****er is now comparing Pacquiao, who's been a champion in different weight divisions to a bum like Gomez who only became famous by being on TV falsely advertised as a Slugger. What a ****ing idiot.

You sound pretty sure about this Cap.:yep I respect your view on this fight but hardly agree. You are guilty of what many of today's boxing fans are.....over critising and discrediting greatness. To compare Gomez to a PAC is like comparing beef jerky to a Ruth's Chris Steak. Now cotto is definitly in this fight.....but he has little chance at beating PAC outside the inital 4 or 5 rounds. PAC gets stronger where Cotto fades and the speed and awkwardness of PAC's overall fight game won't all Miguel to find his rythm. I see WAR for 3 rounds and then PAC begins to show where the difference in class and talent is evident.

I would agree with you if he was fighting at 140...everything I am saying is based in the welterweight context....
Not taking away from any of his previous accomplishments.

although i see the point you are making Capitan ;) ....

    imo
Hatton is better then gatti, period
Hatton was less gone then Gatti was
Pac is levels upon levels superior then Gomez
Cotto is probably not the same cotto that toyed with gomez like a tiger playing with a mouse

all this adds up to a much more competetive fight.... Pacs speed and power are there to see, theres nothing hidden about it or needing figuring out.

I do think Cotto will win, but that doesnt mean that Pac wont make a good fight out of it.

:good That is actually where I find my reservations as well. This is an even fight. I'm still a bit suspect on PAC handling a true WW. But all I can go off of is trends....and the PAC trend seems to be constant and predictable. I truly feel PAC is at an all time high wth regards to his skill, confidence and overall ability. Cotto is a very strong, solid and hungry champion but what he lacks in the kinds of natrual gifts/ability that PAC seems to have an abunance of is where the fight shifts in my opinion. I know the fans win with this one. I think Cotto ends up being too durable for his own good.

Oscar was shot as well when Pacquiao conveniently exploited him.

Pacqquiao is good....damn good, but facing a true welterweight champ
as in Cotto...Pacquiao is going to look like Alfonso Gomez !!!!
