Felix 'Tito' Trinidad vs. Floyd 'Money' Mayweather @ 147lbs

Oscar would've done the same thing to Floyd. Oscar at 147 was really good and Floyd at that weight is grossly overrated.

 

Mayweather by clear convincing decision, although boring.

Who's saying he would? It's a fantasy fight. It's like me saying 'Ray Robinson wouldn't take a fight with Felix Trinidad because he's dead'. Hence the word 'fantasy'.

Trinidad was past his best in the Winky fight. Not that you're anybody to discuss with about Tito.

 

Trinidad on points. Any top class modern welterweight would beat Floyd at 147 - that's why he has never and will never fight one. Floyd was great at 130, but his effectiveness has declined with each passing weight division. At 147, he can hardly string two punches together, he's a backward, over-cautious pot-shotting points-accumulator, and although he looks good against little flawed welters like Hatton and Judah, he would be worked over by a fully-sized top quality motivated welter like late 90s Tito, Oscar and Ike, or the Mosley of 2000.

Tito on his best night at 147 was too big, too strong, too powerful, too rangy, too aggressive, too robust. He would repeatedly drive Floyd to the ropes with hard straight punches, and as soon as he eventually caught Floyd flush and PBF felt the true power of a welterweight KO artist, he would be firmly in retreat mode. At 147, Floyd doesn't possess the kind of power to keep Tito honest. Trinidad would be steaming in using his arsenal of power and variety allied with his height and reach strengths. Floyd would of course have his moments and win some rounds with his quick, crisp, clever counters, but a smaller man can't pot-shot around big, determined boxer-punchers like Tito, Oscar and Mosley. They're not Sharmba Mitchell or an overweight Juan Manuel Marquez. Trinidad UD.

 

Floyd wins the fight, Tito wins the event.

honestly I cant stand Floyd but I think he'd outbox Tito rather easily. This would be a one-sided UD.
