I find it funny to see that one of Wards biggest weapons is his homeadvantage...(my english is bad )...
I think Ward is very talented and probably hungry too...

But he is in with a guy who have fought 12 rounders for several years..fought outside his homecountry...AND most important,when he is facing the challenge,from fighting in Wards backyard,its just fuel to the fire...im looking forward to see what ward is made off,when we get to round 9-10...If he last that long,witch i think.Kessler can fight in an extremly high pace for all 12 rounds...And i think Ward will do well in the first 6 rounds or so..then kessler will punish him and knock him out in round 10-12..

 

Ward is no Calzaghe. I think you should go back and watch Calzaghe/Kessler and tell me if you actually think Kessler would have lost to anyone else that night. If you think Ward can stand up to that, so be it, but I have my doubts.

Maybe he will win a split because of home advantage.. But either way, kessler will be the better fighter on fightnight!...

 

I am happy to inform you that Ward is in much better shape than Kessler, and that Ward will actually be the stronger fighter in the later rounds. I'd tell you how I know this but it's just going to make a bunch of people whine and call names. Guess you'll just have to take my word for it.

 

On November 22nd you will see that Calzaghe is no Ward. You'll be around on November 22nd, right?

I'm saying that on November 22nd, we will all be able to see for ourselves. No need to put words into my mouth. Nice try though.

 

Ward has several problems in this fight. Number one on the list is his lack of power; he landed flush on Miranda all night, but Miranda finished on his feet. What happened when the top two middleweights landed flush on Miranda? That lack of power is a serious issue.

Ward did a good job of controling the distance against Miranda, but Miranda has no jab, and not much footwork. Kessler has one of the best jabs in the business. And, the strategic clinching Ward used against Miranda gets him countered and beat up against Kessler.

Ward has yet to face an opponent with a world class jab, or a really good 1-2, so he has not had to pay for his habit of holding a low guard. Kessler will make him pay.

Ward is a talented kid, but his lack of world class experience will probably show up early and often. Kessler by KO around the 10th.
