In Episode 2 of 24/7, Cotto plays golf with left handed clubs.

Can you imagine how much more dangerous he would be as a southpaw???

Yea he is a natural lefty.
That's why his left hook is so dangerous.

Yup, converted, that's why he has a great left hook and a hard jab!

Cotto is a converted southpaw. But it wouldn't be smart for him to fight from a lefty stance.

De La Hoya was the same, Cotto sometimes switches southpaw.

It doesn't work like that. Cotto is a lefty by nature but his best work comes from the orthadox stance. That's just how he was taught and how he feels more comfortable. Oscar Delahoya was also a converted southpaw.

the old timers say that u should keep ur power hand back but there seems to be more and more good converted fighters out there, personally imma right handed southpaw.. aside from cotto and DLH heres the ones that i know..

    Dawson natural righty
    Juanma is a natural righty
    Travis simms natural righty
i believe jeff lacy is left handed from what i remember?
winky right is a right hander

i feel like there are more... but i cant think of them off the top of my head....

Cotto is a natural lefty like hoya, barrera and many others. That's why he can knock you down with his left jab.

Cotto will switch stances from time to time. He is better off fighting orthodox because he has done this most of his career. Tyson and Hagler were the same way. Look what happened when Hagler a natural right hander decided to stop fighting southpaw, he lost to Leonard.
