Future Hall of Famer Bernard Hopkins spoke Exclusively to Liverpuncher.com about his thoughts to the upcoming superfight Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto! We asked him if he feels Pacquiao will be outsized vs Miguel Cotto…hear what the Executioner, from his own words has to say! “With Pacquiao's speed and Cottos ..." Read on for more.

wear and tear from the Margarito fight, I don’t think he has ever recovered,” he said to Livepruncher.com. Hopkins explained to us that fighters only have a certain amount of mileage on their odometers much like a car and Miguel Cottos odometer is nearly at 100,000 miles!

“Its called mileage on a car, if a car has 100,000 miles on it but it looks good, but this other car, that’s a Ferrari, Pacquiao, that has 10,000 miles on it” is what this fight comes down to. He also gave us his thoughts on who should be Trainer of the Year! Listen to him break down Cotto vs. Pacquiao:

    I completly disagree with Hops.

Can someone point out to me the fights in which Cotto looks like he has too much wear and tear on him???????

Where are people getting this from?

The guy got a real bad cut in the Clottey fight but still fought on and won. How is that a guy with too much mileage on?

im gonna side with bernard on this one...i honestly feel that cotto is not the same fighter since the fight with margo...physically he is in excellent shape but mentally he is not the same fighter...im a die hard cotto fan but i just dont see cotto being able to pull the trigger like he used to...my heart want to say cotto by 9th rd ko but my wallet sez pac-man in brutal fashion by 4th rd ko...if im wrong everyone get @ me...most of my post i have been saying the same thing since the fight was announced...if u watch the jennings fight he looked very hesistant and also the reaction that he and his uncle showed when he won by ko was of someone who was unsure of himself and was more relieved then excited...pacman does not get discouraged in the ring and is relentless in his attack...i feel that they will jump on cotoo early and miguel wont be able to get comfortable thats why i say 4th rd ko

Whats that got to do with anything? Having lost more/being dropped more times don't mean he's been through more wars. Even if he has, your point still remains irrelevant.

Whats the point your trying to make?

i guess when pacman get his behind slap he will never be "the same". I guess that also applies to Mosley that he lost twice to Vernon Forrest.......via a beating and what happened after that? He came back again, then he almost lost to Mayorga,,,he was not "the same" then he beat Margarito and now he is the king at 147. Please people do not fool yourself. You can not a Margarito as if he was a Jennings. Margarito is 10 times better figther than Jenings was and MORE dangerous...in other world he was a huge step up. Then come Clottey a figther that nobody wants to fight and he beat him in a close decision. People i do not care how good you are not always just going to run over your opposition. Boxers are not robots, nobody in invinsible. Well i guess that does not applies to Pacman...everybody is making him a god, and invisible. We will see what happens.

i respect B Hop but if he's saying Cotto has 100,000 miles well i think BHop has to have a engine swap cause he is def over his miles.. i mean hes a boring ass fighter .. no matter what happens with the cotto vs pac fight atleast it would be wayy more exciting then all B Hops fights put together

I don't find Hopkins boring at all.

He may not have the crowd-pleasing style that attracts casual fans, but his technical prowess is an absolute marvel!
