Bull****! Where did PBF say he wanted no part of Cotto? Where did he say he wanted no part of a limited and flawed plodder in Margo? Read this and get back too me.:hi:

"Arum agreed that the split with Mayweather was not on bad terms like their brief breakup last year. In fact, Arum said, "We intend to be back together. Everything with this was honorable and good. I had offered him numbers [for a multi-fight contract extension] that were livable. His expectations are in the stratosphere. He was entitled to buy me out, and he did. We decided this was the best way to handle it. He is a free agent
    This content is protected
. We have agreed to work with each other [in the future]."

""That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya
    This content is protected
fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road." (Floyd ended up making over $20 million for Oscar, Arum is obviously upset now)

"Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto
    This content is protected
and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million." (He was willing to fight Marg, but wanted more against Cotto and Hatton, which was justifiable. Especially with Hatton)

Yes I do and the best legacy just happens to have the biggest paydays. In Cotto and Pac.

Actions speak louder than words, and Mayweather didn't fight those guys, that says enough for me.

I ask then what, what are you going to say. Someone just started a thread in which he argued that Floyd would want to fight the winner of PAC v. Cotto because the winner would be damaged goods.

Here's the problem that PBF has.

If he fights Pac and wins, well Pac was too small.

If he fights Cotto and wins, Cotto was damaged goods.

If he fights Mosely and wins, Mosely was too old.

There is nothing PBF could do in the ring that would satisfy the haters because hate is irrational.

But I don't want that to be used as an excuse not to fight the best also...Can we agree on that ?
Just because certain people will hate no matter what, you can't put everyone in the same basket all the time !

I mean it when I say, I don't care who wins or loses, as long as the best fight the best !! That's how legacies are truly created in the real world !!

The best from the past had their critics too, even if they fought the best but at least they did !! (Ali, Leonard, Hagler, Duran, etc...)
