I had it 115-113 and 116-112 if it wasnt for the knockdown could have easily been a draw....one the best little fights i have seen in a bit of time.

I just don't get the two 117-110 and the 116-111 scores.

115-113 Agbeko, including a 10-9 round for Perez where he scored the KD. Would have had it a draw without the KD.

Only one actually. I wrote Agbeko, but meant to write Perez. Brain fart.

The thing is, Bernstein said that he himself had it by two points for Perez (I suspect he did not score the KD round 10-8 for Perez, as he had pointed out that Agbeko had won most of it up to that point).

You swing two rounds the other way (and there were several that he'd said live during the broadcast were close enough he could see someone doing so) and it becomes pretty much Jerry Roth's score (who I assume did employ the customary 10-8 scoring for Perez after the ref ruled a KD and applied the count)

People forget how easy it is for huge gaps to seem to appear with only the subtlest of tweaks on the 10-point must system. Two close rounds being seen differently can produce massively different scorecards and even yield different winners.

Tough fight to select a winner. Let's just say I have no qualms about the winner just the score cards as someone mentioned earlier. I had it 115-113 Perez.
