and told Arum to 'make the fight' whilst watching the Clottey match, and these flaws were mentioned again without detail in the last 24/7.

What does Pacquaio know, do you reckon? Less solid defence on Cotto's part? Slower?

Exactly! Just as I have always suspected!

Pac has made the fatal mistake of using a fight against Joshua Clottey, who would make any WW look ****ing uncomfortable. If he thinks he can use a fight against Clottey, where Cotto basically had one eye, to pick up on Cotto's weaknesses, then he is perhaps getting full of himself!

Ive noticed in the Clottey fight, Cotto would leave such huge gaping holes in his defense when trying to reset his foot position Clottey just didnt show the tenacity to try take advantage (btw this is something Malinaggi exposed in the 2nd half of his fight with Cotto too). Im not sure if this is what Pacman saw, but Id be more worried about neutralizng Cotto's jab and avoiding bodyshots as much as possible than I would about cutting through Cotto's defense.

I noticed Pacman repeating one combo on mitts with Roach "parry left jab and counter with left uppercut" I recon this counter will be most effective against cotto it all depends how Cotto will adjust to it/ or how well cottos chin stands up to it since theres usualy gaping hole in Cottos d ( he tends to lift his right slightly when jabing) against this particular punch. If Pacman has enough pop in his left to check Cottos chin then Cotto will have to change his tactics.

Every fighter has flaws pac, I have seen Flaws in Cotto, Flaws in you yourself, Flaws in Mike Tyson etc... every fighter has flaws, the question is can you exploit them?

Everyone knows Cotto has weaknesses. How else could he have gotten hit by vitually every uppercut Margarito threw.

You think this happens against a properly trained fighter with good technique?

:good I remember reading this as well. Right after the Clottey fight Pac said Cotto was flawed and he could beat him, then made the call to Arum.

Even though the Cotto/Clottey fight was ugly, I could honestly say that I think Cotto looked better against Clottey than Margarito did. Basing an opinion based off of Cotto's performance against Clottey is a terrible decision.

Obviously I don't know for certain, but I think the gist of what Pac was saying was "I've found flaws in Cotto that work well with the advantages that I have".

How else could Cotto have gotten to where he is by not exploiting his opponents flaws and weaknesses as well. Which will be the case with
Manny getting his ass handed to him.

I never said Manny would be able to take advantage of that flaw, but that is a flaw.

Everyone should know that he oly opted to fight Cotto because of how he looked against Clottey.

    It was obvious.

Didn't he call Roach or Arum to make the fight happen as he was watching the fight? I bet you it was during Rd 9.

Everybody knows that Cotto likes to eat uppercuts for dinner.

But can Pacquiao dish out a big enough serving?:hey
