When the #1 WW (Shane Mosley) calls you out, and tells you he will meet you at 140 if you'd like..... then yes, I think he opted to fight Cotto at 145 because he felt it would be easier than Mosley at any weight.
oh please 1. The Cotto fight makes more $ than Mosley 2. Cotto is in the same stable 3. Mosley only came out with the 140 deal as a desperation move because he knew the Pac/Cotto fight was hours from being a done deal 4. Mosley lost to Cotto

My point has nothing to do with Margo loading his gloves. Im just saying since Cotto beat Mosley, things have changed.
i see that to. i think cotto puts his head down to much, a quick left uppercut under his jab is a perfect counter for that. his other flaws is that he is not as compfortable on the back foot compared to the front, i think pac should use his feet to put cotto of balanced where he can unleash combos where cotto has to readjust his position, cottos footwork is key, if he cant adjust quick enough to counter pacs movement he will be taged to much.
Sorry pal, but the record still says Cotto UD12 Mosely. Cotto also beat Clottey since then. There is absolutley no justification for rating Mosely higher than the man who beat him.
I see what your saying and I rate Cotto higher than Mosley myself also, Cotto's my favourite fighter. Im just saying, Pac picked him for a reason. People say Cotto's not the same since Marg, Cotto looked below par against Clottey, he's on the decline etc, but in Mosley's last fight, he absoluetely destroyed Marg. Again, Pac picked Cotto for a reason.
But its wrong for him to make his decision based off of the Clottey fight. Clottey makes all of his opponents look like crap.
