What idiot would write that off and pass it as journalism? The media that we get in this sport isn't even second rate.

Whoever told you that is a blind flat out moron. It was Porter that was knocking Pac around. They only showed a quick 2 second clip of Castillo throwing a couple of punches at Pac, that was it.

    :lol:oops.

You'll see, Porter was the one wearing the yellow gloves and yellow head gear. Castillo was the one with the black gloves and they only showed him for 2 seconds.

He also said the episode wasn't that entertaining, I actually didn't think the first one was all that great. Yeah, any 24/7 is worth watching just because of the inside look, but these two just don't have enough character.

i dont think its so much he looks nervous. i think he just isnt as focused as cotto is. manny is a mega super duper star and he has to cut alot of non-boxing stuff and people out of his schedule. he's doing to many interviews, shows, etc... and his camp was delayed due to the storm.
during the sparring, manny looked out of it. his camp was arguing amongst themselves and roach left manny in the phillipines cause of the storm. it looks out of wack!
at this rate cotto will win. but when manny is focused, he's the best. maybe if he's lost focus he needs to lose so that he can get that hunger back! dont wanna see that, but that'll happen if he loses focus--which seems 2 b the case.:p:bbb
    hope im wrong.

Manny can be as focused as possible, and Floyd would still beat him. Floyd is the best.....not Manny.

When Pac walks out for the fight - that's when you'll be abe to look into his face and tell if he's afraid. For 24/7, they edit to show what they want us to see.

As far as Pac getting pounded on, that's by design. They need him to take this punishment to get used to the heavy shots Cotto will land on him. Ali did the same when preparing for his fight against Forman.

Honestly so far it isn't the best 24/7 series. Calzahge vs Jones has the potential to have had more drama in theirs.

I don't see much entertainment. All I see is Cotto and that fat dude humping each other in the first 2 episodes and trying to rip off each other's clothes in the pool.

And Pac's advisor really seems to be enjoying the attention he's getting lately by being Pac's *****. Not exactly what I would call entertaining televison, but I watch anyway.

    It's Manuel Perez. Enough said.

(He said the exact same thing going into the Hatton fight, and then had the audacity to call the result of the fight an absolute fluke and claimed that Hatton was still a better fighter than Pacquiao.)
