if it's a different format then Shotime then i think we would need a 8 man tourney instead of a 4 man tourney. it makes more sense **** malinagi vs diaz 2 then enter alexander, ortiz,Maidana,Khan, bradley vs peterson winner, and maybe some one like Nate
Interesting to see that Maidana is getting the amount of votes that he's getting. :think I view him as the most suspect of the proposed competitors.
Bradley may not be officially included in the proposed tourney but in a way he is; considering he's fighting Peterson who is another legitimate candidate but just on another network. The source article suggested that the winner of the tourney may end up as a viable option for Bradley anyways; so we may indeed get our recognized 140lb champ. btw I favor Peterson over Bradley. :yep
It's not a round robin but a single elimination tourney. The idea is to hopefully build up the winner enough to be marketable as an opponent against a more recognizable name. In the process unify the titles at 140 and perhaps gain clarity in what is a stacked division.
This is setting the stage for Khan i feel to show the world that he is the real deal, a 140 Khan is taking shots better at this more natural weight for the 5'10 big frame guy. Khan would shock these guys with his fast handspeed and movement. Under Roach Khan is improving all the time and now is following gameplans
Both who?Maidana and Khan? Either way Maidana was rocked by a good puncher in Ortiz and shook it off.Khan folds way to easy even to average opunchers. His style with Roach has become very amateurish too. He's never gonna be the aggressor or commit to his punches altough I think he punches pretty hard.
At 135 Khan did, at 140 Kotelnik landed 80 clean shots with no effect, i remember in the start of the 12th Khan got right with a big right with no effect.
He maybe landed 80 shots.Doesn't mean they were necessarily clean. Either way Kotelnik ain't a puncher.
