    Point taken, i think Khan at 140 Khan can take shots better, but we will see.

    I agree,at 140 he takes shots better.

    It's just that going from complete and utter **** to garbage ain't a big cross over.

    I'd like to see him against another man who can punch before a ina land ultimate state of mind.

    If they do that then khan will actually have to fight some decent fighters and will get KOd again so it probably wont happen.

    Sounds good. Why don't they do the tournaments with a bonus purse for first place - and maybe second place?

    Interesting. I'd love to know the exact intended format. Single elimination would favor some of those guys and screw others.

    The proposed tournament has been compared to Don King's 2001 Middle weight tourney. The scenario being discussed is a 3 fight tourney, single elimination with Khan-Maidana and Ortiz-Alexander slated to face off, and the two subsequent winners then facing off. Both Khan's and Alexander's belts would be on the line which would thus produce a unified champion at the conclusion of the tourney.
