Tony Dodson has called out Paul Smith

I think Quigley beat Smith, I also think Dodson would, Never rated Paul Smith he seems to get bullied every time he gets in the ring.

 

swud be to say hes still growing into the weight be a fair shout

 

i dont get where all this paul was gettng bullied comes from. I agree he was being pushed back a little bit, but this was something i think paul was happy to let happpen as a lot of his best work did come off the back foot, countering.
Tell you what though, i am loving the way tony is on the forums recently, bringing it!

Unsure if you can compare the two tbh mate, Dodson was tired after a 12 round war, Smith Vs Quigley was definitely no war. Imo Smith couldn't dig in the trenches like that.

I agree with you though regarding Smith's tactics with Quigley, maybe letting him think he was getting him on the backfoot.

 

I dont think Smith was on the back foot so he could counter, he was getting pushed around and bullied, and if he was he shouldnt do it again cause he's not very good at it, I dont think he has a great deal of phyiscal strengh to push opponinents back etc.

 

quigley was just as tired after the smith fight as he was after the dodson fight. maybe even more so. but he still stopped tony-D so to me, that raises questions about dodsons endurance.

i think tony dodson would fight paul exactly the same way he fought quigley, and the outcome would be exactly the same too (late stoppage). im not saying pauls a better fighter, im not sure bout that one, i just dont think TD can endure a 12 rounder with smigga. but he's adamant he can and only tony knows what shape hes in so we will just have to see if paul accepts a fight with Tony-D!! :think

Tony Dodson would give Smith fits, Smith was bullied by Quigley, but Quig couldnt do that with Tony! If Tony had kept out of trouble he would have won it well, but ok, Quig caught him with a good shot and finished it, but would take Tony to beat Quig and Smith.
