There is a hugh myth that Mayweather only fights smaller guys which is largely based on the Marquez fight. that's one fight out of 40! Some people try to argue Hatton even though Hatton puts on 10-15lbs on fight night. In every other Mayweather fight you could make the case the he was the same size and in a lot of fights (DLH,Gatti, Castillo, Bruselles, Baldomir, Judah, etc..) that he was smaller. So that myth is exposed as being complete bull****.


RA said he admires hopkins while he was trying to bash Floyd. I admire hopkins for his dedication to his craft which is the reason for his longevity. But here's a guy who feasted on smaller fighters like DLH. Hell his biggest win was over a blown up WW in trinidad. But I guess people forgot that. And hopkins is not a warrior like RA claimed. I personally thought he won the Calzaghe fight, but he was whining and bitching, and faking low blows like a *****. That's not being a warrior like RA claimed.

He said Mayweather is ducking Margacheato, Cotto, and Williams, Mosley! Same bull**** you always here.

1) Margacheato is irrelevant now. He will forever be a disgraced cheater, who Floyd passed on for a shot a the lineal champ. You can't argue with that logic.

2) As for Cotto. Everybody was calling out Mayweather to fight Cotto, except Cotto himself. Cotto said the same stuff that Floyd says. " I fight whoever Top nRank decides for me to fight." Floyd was the top dog and the the P4p champ. So Cotto being the up and comer is supposed to call out the champ. The champion doesn't call out the challenger. What sense does make?

3. Williams is a middleweight right now. If He comes back down, and campaigns at WW, then he's in the discussion.

4. Mosley ducked Floyd. He's just desperate for a payday right now. Mosley would get in there with the Klits right now if he thought he could get big money. The bottom line is everyone is giving Mosley a pass for ducking Floyd. If was acceptable for Mosley to pass on Mayweather in 2006, then its aacceptable for Mayweather to pass on Mosley now. You can't say "its ok for Mosley to decline Mayweather, but if Mayweather declines Mosley, he's ducking him."

Mayweather is a fighter not a debater, so he was in RA's world and out of his element, so he missed opputunities to call RA on his bull****. But it doesn't chane the fact that RA said nothing valid. The fact that so many people were despararte to see Mayweather allegedly "get owned" shows how much hate there is for the greatest active fighter in the sport.

I agree with the thread starter. I want to see him fight Hatton again too. Why should he have to fight welterweights? There is no reason for this. There are other boxers that we can follow.

And let's face it, another fight with Hatton will be probably the greatest fight of our lives.
