David Haye vs the X-factor

David versus Jedward?! article from the mirror, I especially like the bit in bold re booth's antics:

David Haye is threatening to stage a sit-in on Saturday because he doesn't want to be KO'd by the X-Factor.
German TV want to bring the ringtime forward an hour to 9.30pm and Haye is more worried about going head-to-head with Jedward than Beast from the East Nikolai Valuev.
Part of Haye's purse is being paid by Sky and they could lose thousands of pay-per-view customers if the fight clashes with ITV's hugely-popular X-Factor.
Haye is adamant the world heavyweight title showdown will not start before 10.30pm and will refuse to leave his dressing room before then.
His manager and trainer Adam Booth said: "Someone showed me something sent out by German broadcasters, which said that David's fight starts around 9.30 UK time. That's not the case.
"We have a contract and one of the things in the contract says that David's ring walk starts any time between 10 and 10.30 British time. So we expect him to walk out just after 10pm.
"What can they do? If they try and get us out early, we'll just say no. If they want to turn the cameras off, let them turn them off. They're not going to cancel the big event for the sake of 10 minutes.
"We have a contract. We have honoured that contract and we expect them to do the same."
Haye, 29, suspects the row over the ringtime is part of a dirty tricks campaign by Valuev's German promoters and the challenger was also annoyed by the hotel they gave him when he arrived in Nuremberg on Monday.
The former undisputed cruiserweight king was angry at being billeted on the outskirts of town near the Nuremberg Arena, the venue for Saturday's fight, and has moved to a more central hotel, just across the street from WBA king Valuev.

Such ploys are all part of fight week and Haye, who has brought all his own grub as a precaution against food poisoning, claims he won't let these upsets affect his preparations.
"The hotel was in the middle of nowhere," he said. "There was no light in the room. It was dreary and depressing.
"Things like this have happened throughout my career and whenever I've gone anywhere, people have always to put me in a small dressing room or give me something they know I don't use, but we just check the contract out and they can't do anything.
"Everything is in the contract from the size of the ring to the gloves. It's not down to them to decide and when it comes down it, we just check the contract and that's it."
Haye can't moan about underhand tactics and he goaded Valuev yet again yesterday by producing his goblin mask at their public work-out in a city shopping centre.
Bemused German shoppers watched as Booth, who pulled faces behind Valuev's back during his work-out, :nut popped the mask on his right hand for Haye to punch during a pads session in the makeshift ring.
The 7ft Valuev missed Haye's latest attempt to wind him up, but the Russian giant's tiny trainer Alexander Zimin witnessed it, to the delight of the challenger.
"Good," he said. "I'm glad he saw it. The mask gives me a bit more motivation when I'm training. When I'm a bit tired in the gym, we put the mask on, and it gets another couple of rounds out of me.
"It's the closest thing we could get to Valuev, only not as ugly! "People say why do I tease him and he's a nice guy, but this is business. I want to become world heavyweight champion and he is in my way."

 

can't you just picture booth pulling faces behind valuevs back- if that got caught on video it would be priceless
