Somehow, I am not the least bit surprised that you would go after Mayweather in defense of Arreola... And this is probably Reason #1 why your letter was used for shitpaper. WAAAAA!:| WAAAAAA! Mayweather cussed! Why can't Cristobal? WAAAAAAAA!
Dont be such a girl about it, I threw Tyson, Mayweather, Mosley and Margarito under the bus, not just Floyd, you lil ****** you, I mean re read that and answer is Floyd the only one I am talking about in there?:think And do you FLoyd boys always have to be so gay? seriously learn to ****ing read your the 2nd lil ***** that has asked me the same ****, stop ***ging off in the forums already.
Its not a decision of one you know that. ignored grammar, but next time proof read it first so that it wont go directly to the trash can (which im 100% sure it did). On the other hand, does it really affect the fighter? No, because his next fight will be in the next 6 months or maybe more.
I just wanted to say I applaud you for doing SOMETHING with regard to the things you believe in. A lot of negative "you're wasting your time, etc..." posts in this thread, but too many people sit back and don't do anything but complain when they see something wrong, especially in the sport of boxing. We're the customers, and I think we have a right to say what we want with regard to the sport that we pay a lot of money to see...
Why can't you contribute something positive rather than just throw out criticism? He has a point. They're trying to pick on one guy and not have the standards go across the board and apply to anyone and it's complete bull****. This is a grown folk's sport where people beat the **** out of each other and you're worried about cursing. Go ahead and choke yourself Sulaiman. atsch
I am still laughing that you sent a letter to the WBC because Arreola lost every single round in the fight, quit, then cried after the fight. The suspension is meaningless he was not going to get a rematch anytime soon. This whole thing (the suspension and your letter) is pointless and meaningless.
Very good thread and true. Arreola shouldn't be banned, this is an emotional sport, the man came out of a very brutal fight where he took far too much damage as he constantly tried and gave it his all. Getting a bit emotional when the fight is over is very normal and happened MANY times before, why should Arreola pay and other don't?
And for all of you who do nothing but be negative and say 'they won't read it, use it for toilet paper' ect. Your attitudes represent one big thing that is wrong with boxing: everyone bitches about this and that but won't do a thing about it. When someone does you say they are wasting their time or point out spelling/grammar errors when AT LEAST THEY GOT OFF THEIR ASS AND DID SOMETHING. Everyone knows this ruling is BS and it has to be called out. The same way we should call out meaningless rankings and other things. Bazooka inspired me and reminded me that we are not just powerless observers. We make boxings as fans and we have more power than the sanctioning bodies, promoters, and cable networks. Without our support there are no fights. Let's all remind Sulaiman that boxing is a grown people's sport where the object is to hurt the opponent with your hands. The fight where the actions in question was aired on a channel that showed The Sopranos AND had a warning for adult language. Plus plenty of others on their fight broadcasts have used such language with no such repercussions.
NEWS FLASH!! In case you didn't already know the WBC just out did themselves: "Welterweight world champion Andre Berto of the U.S. requested approval for a voluntary title defense on January 30 against WBA champion Shane Mosley of the U.S. The request was approved on the condition that Mosley publicly apologize to the WBC for abandoning the WBC title to challenge Antonio Margarito for the WBA title in January, 2009. No. 2 ranked Luis Collazo of the U.S. was ordered to fight No. 3 ranked WBC International champion Selcuk Aydin of Turkey for the interim world title, with the winner to be the mandatory challenger."
It would take an epic petition to get them to notice...and even then they'd probably go about their business. The best way to handle it is to simply tune out. That'll teach em.
The only reason they might not read the whole letter is because of what I underlined... They might think you're dumb even though I know for a fact you ARE dumb lol...but, your heart is in the right place though.
