Before moving up 2 HW, Holyfield was the greatest CW of all time. Although that does go back further than 20 years so you have a point. Also, we're talking p4p here. Lewis was huge compared to Holyfield.
Yes, it can be. Holyfield has victories over a prime Bowe, an old Foreman, a much younger Tyson, and Buster Douglas. Those wins are as impress or more impress than any in Lewis's career. Sure, he beat Holy, but those were hardly dominating performances. If I remember correctly, they were about as exciting as the putrid Wlad vs. Iggy fight....something like 8 punches landed per round.
