It is obvious this young man wants a title, but why would he care for a rematch if he really won in his own mind? He wants to run away with the title? Guess what Andre, that belt and Mikkel Kesslers belts are going to be unified at the end of the tournament, how about just getting down to business and picking the points available for you in your up coming fights? Its clear as day Dirrell is vastly talented, if he only put his mind together and did whats best for the tournament, he could have two belts when all is said and done. Call me a hater, but I think Dirrell would've bowed out of the tournament with one of the titles in his hands. :smoke
Call me a hater too, but I think Direll couldn't even decesively beat Froch, he will get sparked against Abraham and if he happen to face Kessler he will get sparked too, so there's no way he's going to snatch even one belt in this tournament, much less both of them.
I dislike Froch. Really, I don't see how anyone, regardless of nationality could like him. He's egotistical without having elite talents. He calls out much better fighters, like Calzaghe, who simply smile and shrug him off because they know the score. And he's a dirty, dirty fighter. Not to mention the fact that he's got the personality of a dead fish wrapped in used newspaper.
There's not much to dislike about Froch. He's as honest a man as you will come across, he's got his both feet planted firmly and he does not run from a challenge. He seeks to fight the best, he himself acknowledge the big task in Kessler next, but hes willing to walk into that storm proud, willing to achieve greatness.
well he was the no.1 contender at the time, and generally that's kind of allowed in those circumstances.
Thanks for the infor. Sure, it's allowed, but Calzaghe had already stated that he wanted one of two big fights before retirement. Froch was a nothing and a nobody at the time. Exactly who had he beaten to deserve a shot? Answer--nobody.
Who did Manfredo beat then? Froch - Calzaghe was, and would be a super fight in Britain, every day of the week.
Thats very true!:rofl I'm very anxious to hear this response...I guess because he won the contender (let me rephrase that, he got close to winning:rofl) he had a name for himself!:huh
