    Possibly my favourite fight of all-time. I would have loved to have been a boxing fan in the UK around that time, didn't Benn get an average of 10 million viewers a fight?

    EDIT- That must have been one of the most intense pre-fight staredowns of all time.

    It's just great stuff. Great stuff.

    And yeah on ITV Benn got those viewers from Watson to McClellan, about 20 fights. And most of his KO's pre-Watson were live on ITV/BBC1.

    He got big money for his fight with Wharton (through King) considering it was terrestrial TV and it was early 90s, about 1.5MILL in pounds. And he got big viewers in the USA for his fight with Barkley (through Arum), about 10MILL on ABC channel.
