I voted holyfield but you guys are right about DLH. I can't beleive so many guys are going with hopkins. GOod resume but not the best of the last 20 years by far.
so by this logic bufallo bills went couple of times to the super bowl but didnt win the big one... they are considered the best team of that era? LOL
I'm not going to pretend I know the intricacies of the resume of each man listed, but for me, Lennox Lewis' is the one that stands out. There is a really nice synergy to it, with contenders, title holders and ATG's alike. He beat the prime or good versions of the best guys to come before and after him in Vitali and Holyfield (which along with a shot Mike Tyson, are his signature wins). Then a host of strong, highly ranked contenders (some unbeaten) like Golota, Tua, Botha, Tucker, Grant and Mavrovic, the lineal champ in Briggs as well as title holders like McCall, Rahman, Morrison, Akiwande, Bruno, Mercer and Ruddock. All in all, I think Lewis' resume has all the bases covered. I'd like to make a case for Hopkins' resume as well....
If it's purely names, not just outcomes, then i'd go with Holyfield. Who the hell didn't the guy fight? The guy still took part in 15 round fights and seems to bridge teh gap between two eras. Lennox has an excellent one too: Holyfield x2, Ruddock, Tyson, Tua, Rahman (one loss to him but avenged in amazing fashion), Vitali Klitschko, Golota, McCall (revenge win), Briggs, Grant, Akinwande, Mercer, Botha, Morrison, Bruno, Mason. Fantastic list; one guy is missing though, won't go into it now as it's a long story but: Bowe. Lewis' resume would be sooooooo much better with Bowe on it. And for some reason i've always wanted to see Moorer in there with Lewis too. That'd be a nice addition also.
Are you a ****ing doofus???! atsch ODLH has wins over all those names mentioned...Pretty damn impressive huh??!! To think the DLH you saw against PBF, Forbes, and Pacquiao wasn't the same DLH from the 90's. Welcome to boxing! :good
Holyfield without a doubt (from that list) Oscar has the best resume of the last 20 years though, just!
your boy fought the best ******.... but he lost the biggest ones. dont act stupid in here. evryone knows that oscar has a good resume but he sucks at his biggest fights. nothing more nothing less. dont let me mention about ultra prime pernell, chavez and the midget pac whooping your boy... your cranium is half filled sad to say.
