Yeah! But Cotto should have the right to go to the WW limit: 147 and not 145... anyway he said yes so it's up to him

    Thats what i gave you.:good

Margarito wouldn't agree to it. The difference is; that's a ridiculous catchweight that no full sized welter would agree to.

Cotto is allowed to come in at 147, he just has to pay Pacquiao 1 million for every pound over the agreed upon catchweight of 145. "But if Cotto weighs just a fraction over 147, Im pulling the plug"- Freddie Roach

Cotto agreed to this. Theres no reason for people to still be arguing over it.

don't worry, cotto will probably weigh around 155 lbs come fight night. pac just doesnt want to face a middleweight on a welterweight match.

As much as I want Pac to win a 7th title (on different weight class), Yes it's BS to win a title if your opponent was given this kind of limitation. Still the fight is more important than the title so let's get over it. Let's get it on!:bbb

Its always like that in catchweight fights. Boxing fans should understand this by now.

Like PBF vs MArquez, the catchweight was 144 and Mayweather just came over it and paid the penalty. The fight was still on and PBF had a huge advantage. Cotto can do the same thing to Pacquiao that PBF did against Marquez if he wants.

the 145lb catchweight makes the fight more fair. But if he comes over 145 he can still defend his title as long as he's below 147. Those are the rules.

Id assume he's implying that Mosley is the true champ. And that the abc's having nothing to do with it.

    Could be wrong though.:smoke

The belt is on the line because the WBO wanted it that way.... they ranked Pac as # 1 contender to make it official or legit if you want to.... in other words Cotto was kind of forced to accept or else.....

Originally the fight wasn't going to be for the title but the WBO made its moves to make it happen that way.

Just because a champion of any weight class is fighting doesn't mean that the fight is a championship fight.... or that the fight has to be for the belt.....

Does it really matter? It's not like it's the first time this is happening. It has happen before.
