Cotto agreed to this. Theres no reason for people to still be arguing over it.

Its always like that in catchweight fights. Boxing fans should understand this by now.

Like PBF vs MArquez, the catchweight was 144 and Mayweather just came over it and paid the penalty. The fight was still on and PBF had a huge advantage. Cotto can do the same thing to Pacquiao that PBF did against Marquez if he wants.

the 145lb catchweight makes the fight more fair. But if he comes over 145 he can still defend his title as long as he's below 147. Those are the rules.

 

False? Miguel is the WBO champ. That's true...his belt is on the line b/c this is a WW fight...that's true. It's a WBO WW championship fight... FACT.

 

Id assume he's implying that Mosley is the true champ. And that the abc's having nothing to do with it.

The belt is on the line because the WBO wanted it that way.... they ranked Pac as # 1 contender to make it official or legit if you want to.... in other words Cotto was kind of forced to accept or else.....

Originally the fight wasn't going to be for the title but the WBO made its moves to make it happen that way.

Just because a champion of any weight class is fighting doesn't mean that the fight is a championship fight.... or that the fight has to be for the belt.....
