One of those stoppages was to a prime bantamweight Rafael Marquez, and the other to Alejandro Valdez (who by accounts was getting the better of Fernando Montiel and dropped him early on in their recent technical draw).

Video on Jackson seems to be ethereal, but he seems to have had a Hozumi-like resurgence of power the last few years judging by the trail of early endings and an early loss to Gairy St. Clair avenged by TKO.

    This looks very interesting.

I could wear all that and stand next to Phil. And people would stare at Phil's shoes.

Toot toot, this is your captain speaking.

I'm amped for tonight, have been going into work early all week so I can leave early for the fight. Well, that and the fact the little fat man I work with doesn't shower every day and the smell is getting unbearable in the 30+ days.

Great main event tonight, good luck Jackson, now everyone remain seated as we gather speed towards our next destination, um, Beltdown. Belttown?

(Could've just said bump but wheres the fun in that?)

I've been sleeping on my back for a week, thinking about the main event.

Don't forget the upset.... Flash Villacura will roll Dean Livanos. Lost his last ten straight, still wins tonight. As I said, you be the judge. 6 rounds. I tipped Cerniza to knock off Luxford. He did, but you know the rest...

Flash was 0.5kg over last night.

Flash should give a good account of himself in a match that i feel may be the best on a extremely weak undercard.

Asiku was real impressive, brilliant conditioning, didn't slow down one bit. That mexican bloke was tough as ****ing nails but it got a bit cringeworthy towards the end, he took some serious bombs.

very bad refing in that fight, it made a little angry, the mexican was done and the ref was just standing there watching this kid getting hammered.

Yeah that was a brutal stoppage, Ruiz would have been safer in a back alley
