Not to us, who respect pugilists. But the casual (hatton-esque fan if that isn't too much of a generalisation) it needs to be made 'filmic' (is that a word) to sell it to them, hence the hyping of Valuev as a 'beast' so it seems the deck is stacked EVEN MORE for Haye.

I think Haye doesn't really mean it. I'm sure if he toppled Valuev he'd be the first to help him up.

Watching the pre fight press conference i think most people cold see that Valeuv was a genuine nice guy. He never said one bad thing about Haye and just said he hoped the fight would be good. The guy must have a seriously hard skin to take all the comments hes been getting on the chin, and i respect him for that!
I hope Haye wins but Valuev deserves respect win, lose or draw!

 

The closer the fight gets the more im wanting Valuev to shut Haye up. I think he will do it to in about 7.

As for the article it is well written by Bunce.

Valuev seems like a very nice guy and he is/has been very classy compared to Haye.

I want to see Haye knock him out and then feel sorry for the real Nikolai Valuev afterwards...

 

I'm not a fan of Haye and I didn't like the comments he made about Valuev. He's lucky he is fighting Valuev because either Klitschko would have hammered him. I still hope Valuev can pull this one off.

Bunce is a tremendous journalist who writes superbly. I wish his boxing predictions were as good, i can count on 1 hand how many times he has predicted correctly.

For those of you who think Haye has been a bit stink in the build up to this fight, you obviously did not see the article in the lounge from a very respectable website which confirmed Valuev was an alien.

 

Valouev is a very nice person. I wish he would get angry within a ring though.
