Cotto said in El Nuevo Dia when asked if he will be another victim of Manny's speed that..." I'm prepared for Manny's speed is he prepared for my power " ?

Sounds ready and confident....I don't know why Teddy Atlas keeps mentioning that Margarita's ghost is still haunting him.

I believe Manny has a way of dealing with welterweight power. He puts his hands up in the air and fights on.

Yup, he fought Shane Mosley who I think is on that level in terms of skills. :good
Power also, whereas Manny hasn't yet been hit flush with someone with the size, strength, technique, and power of Miguel Cotto.

Pac had been hit flush by MAB, Morales, JMM. Who P4P can all be argued to have better speed, technique and power than Cotto. Don't forget that though Cotto is bigger than those guys, Pac is also bigger todya than he was back then. But I do think that Pac will have the biggest strength disadvantage he's ever had.

On the flip side i don't know about Mosley having better skills than Pac. I would say he's close but Pac's is better, especially if you factor in movement. Pac can really spin his opponents and give em angles than Mosley can't. In the 2nd fight JMM and Pac were almost even in terms of technique and IMO JMM is that kind of master technician that comes around very rarely.

Good point, we know Cotto has faced fast fighters(Manny body and foot speed to ya ya ya we heard it) The bigger question is if Pacquaio can take Cottos punches. And I don't have an answer for that lol

I think it is fair to say that Cotto is the hardest fight in Pac's career to date.

Teddey has a habit of doing that. Beating a dead horse because he thinks that it makes him sound smarter.

Arguing for the sake of arguing because your a Manny fanatic. None of those guys hit as hard as Miguel Cotto does, who has been knocking guys out at 140lbs and 147lbs for years now. I file that under common sense.

:verysad Juan Manuel Marquez was superior in the first fight with Manny, and in the second fight also. The knockdowns made the fights close.

there was only 1 knockdown in the 2nd fight, which is only 1 point. Even with no knockdowns that fight would have been a draw.

To say that the knockdown made the 2nd fight close is dumb. And anyways skill plays a part in knockdowns as well.
