Oscar was twice as fast as Cotto back in his prime, and we all know what would have happened had Pacquiao come up against prime Oscar.

Thats pound for pound dude. So it clearly has no significance. Cotto WILL be the most powerful fighter he's ever faced to date.

Manny may be bigger now, but he still comes in on fight night at 148 pounds and will be facing a guy who was known to come in 7-10 pounds heavier than that at junior welterweight. P4P in this case is irrelevant when it comes to power considering Manny will be fighting a welterweight with a significant size advatage, opposed to featherweights who were similar in size.

Bottom line is Cotto doesn't really know if he's ready for Pac's speed. Just like Pac doesn't really know if he's ready for Cotto's power. We'll see in a few days.

And people say Cotto doesn't talk ****.

that's true. I'm just saying that Pac is not a stranger to being outsized and out-strengthened.

Cotto got to grips with judah's speed and then broke him down. If I was cotto trainer i would tell him for the first 4 rounds is keep his gloves up and back pac up, then start going for the body to slow pac down.

Once pac slows down you take him into a war round 6-8 thats when your size of a natural WW will play a big factor.

And whether pac can over come that will be the defining question.

:huh Cotto aint really that fast. DLH and Hatton are just as fast if not faster. Really when DLH was young he was definitely faster but not these days.

Dont matter about different match up. Philla stated can cotto handle pac skill. Cotto been in the ring with both judah and Mosley. How much more skill do you need. Or is pac skill above the above mentioned:lol:
