You're not paying attention. Oscar wasn't hurt by a SINGLE punch, but by the VOLUME of punches he took.

Oscar did score a few bodyshots near the end of the 8th that actually had some zip on them.

Dumbest thing I've ever read right here.

Manny is a lightweight and he beat up Oscar whose a junior middleweight. Now thats pathetic, Oscar didn't even put up much of a fight. Your hero probably had the worst exit in boxing history. Thats just sad.

He looked like he wasnt far off going for me, he was taking an accumulative beating and the next round he would have been on his back. I dont think Pacquaio was commiting to his shots too much against Oscar till the end so OScar didnt take Manny's biggest

I know you're an Oscar fan so I'm not going to bother arguing with you beyond this

    I said:

    You replied:

    But now you say:

So you do now concede that Oscar was hurt? I never said Oscar was on the brink of being dropped, but his legs did momentarily wobble at the end of the 7th.

If he was not hurt at all, he would have toughed it out and made it to the final bell.

I refuse to accept that Oscar was incapable of even throwing the occasional retaliation punch. He was hurt and could not cope with Pacquiao's speed - he was not medically paralysed!

In all fairness Addie, you believe that Oscar was more hurt in the Mayweather SD than he was in the Pacquiao stoppage. I can't make any sense out of that opinion, so it's probably an issue we shouldn't bother getting into.

So he was hurt. Cool, that's all we were establishing. If Paulie Malignaggi had landed hundreds of punches on Oscar, he wouldn't have been hurt at all. The fact that he was shows that Pac possesses power at 147.

You see, this is the kind of shite that gives this forum a bad name.

You did tip Oscar to blow him away before the fight yes?

But now that Pacquiao came out with the perfect gameplan, executed it flawlessly, and stopped and humiliated your boy, and utterly confounded both you and the majority who also tipped Oscar to win, the win is completely meaningless.

    Laughable. :-(

Junior middle. That's the point. Past-prime and solid 154lbs, then tries to make a weight he out-grew 8 years ago and ****s up and makes 145, is has to be rehydrated on a drip.

No man, I actually thought this was a bad fight for Oscar for obvious reasons and was one of the only ones at Maxboxing.com that said I didn't like this fight for Oscar.

I expected Oscar to pick Cotto. This isn't surprising.
