THIS is PACMANS last FIGHT! He wont spend 8 weeks training early next year since he will be on the street of his hometown campaining for his congressional seat. IF he wins, hes done with boxing.

BUT like IVE SAID: WIN LOST or DRAW, PACMAN has given the boxing world a few years of exciting and breath-taking shows.

 

all the fighters below took a lot of time off after their fights with Cotto:

Malignaggi - 8 months, a surgery, face plates and screws too
Quintana - 10 months and broken spirit and very bruised ribs
Mosely - 10 months his jaw severely swollen, was bleeding out of his ears
Clottey - still has not fought yet
Pinto - never fought again
Gomez - 13 months he must have pissed blood for a week (not confirmed)

just to name a few

The date is already set, because it's the latest Manny could fight and still run in the Philippines elections. The opponent isn't set. Arum will say it's someone other than Floyd for now, just to present that Manny has other options, but if Manny only has a couple of fights left after this anyway, then there's no downside for him to set up Manny-Money, since that fight would make him more than any two other Pacquiao fights could make.
