Too many excuses here man. No fighter has ever made more money fightting anyone else than he has made against Floyd. DLh fought a lot of big draws and is himself the biggest draw of the last decade. He fought Trinidad, Vargas, hopkins, Chavez etc etc etc. I could go on and on with all the big names Oscar fought and he still doubled his buys with Floyd. No way you can say that Floyd didn't play a big part in that.

But FLoyd is the draw, he is the reason the Marquez fight did so well.

And being that Manny isnt the draw, nor is Cotto this fight shouldnt do more than Mayweathers last fight cus Mayweather is the draw in this sport.....

Sorry but thats how you come off, and I am holding you to it....:hi:

I put this as a reason in a previous post of mine. Floyd should call out the winner of Pac/Cotto and expose the truth, whatever that maybe?

He will call them out to save face only to say Arum got in the way and wont give him anything more than a 50/50 split, and he will then say Arum and Roach know, get the **** out of here with that ****, who ever weather is cotto or pac they have earned that share as well....

Floyd will call em out only for a fight not to be put together and turn around and claim they are avoiding him

If it hadn't been for the recession, Mayweather/Marquez would have sold even more. You think blacks and Mexicans aren't the races which feel the recession most?

It is a valid excuse. How can it not be? People, especially the target audience, just don't have the spare money for PPV.

Don't expect any decent responses for a ******ed post like that.

I can understand DLH being the main draw, then again as proven if Mayweather isn't his opponent he WASN'T going to make that much as proven already. The Pacquiao and Mayorga PPV numbers should be good enough proof if you're not ******ed enough to understand, which I doubt.

Again, same thing with Hatton. If Hatton was a major draw he was going to make better numbers fighting Maussa on PPV, hey aren't you saying that these guys are the MAIN draws and Mayweather doesn't count?, that means these guys should make close to a million PPV buys fighting ANYONE since you're obviously hinting Mayweather is NOT a draw and as good as "anyone".

What was Marquez' biggest PPV sales before Mayweather and please mention the numbers.

It's not an excuse because Floyd is STILL outselling Manny in this bad economy. They are fighting in the same damn era and economic conditions, so no...it is not an excuse. They are both effected by it. Floyd is beating Manny in sales.

Somebody gave the old "Oscar and Hatton looked beatable" for the Manny fight, so obviously the fight would sell less than the Floyd fights. Floyd outsold all of Manny's fights (except the Hoya fight) in his last fight against a blown up lightweight, was JMM not beatable at WW more so then Hoya and Hatton????

I don't deny any of that, mate. I'm not saying Floyd isn't a draw, just that Pacquiao is a bigger draw.

I get what you're saying but fighters get more popular in time. De La Hoya did fewer numbers against Chavez, Mosley or Whitaker, than against Mayorga. All three are bigger than Mayorga but those fights drew more because Oscar's popularity sky rocketed.

What numbers are u basing this dumbass conclusion on? This seems like an irrational post from a Mayweather Hater who just doesn't want to concede that as of right now Mayweather is the biggest draw in the sport.

That is a bold face lie and several people proved you wrong on that matter...If Pacman was this big draw that you claim then you can agree that his #'s would have done better than Floyd since they had fought 3 common opponents...The proof is on you to prove us wrong which you've have yet to do! Again...Can we please see the #'s that you're talking about because as of right now Floyd #'s are better than Pacman's #'s those are facts buddy!:good
