The distance between the powerhands favors Mayweather who will more easily hurt and keep Pac at bay.

After watching Mayweather's performance against Marquez, who understandably fights differently that Pac, I saw how a potential Pac-Mayweather fight might play out judging by Mayweather's style in combination with his physical abilities inside the ring.

Pac vs Mayweather may turn out to be a one sided affair. Mayweather has quick feet and is intelligent enough to keep Mayweather on the outside of his punches. And while Mayweather lacks power judging by welterweight standards, he likely has more than Marquez which is enough to keep Pac honest.

Pac will really have to exert himself, especially in the early rounds in order to get inside of Mayweather's straight punches, and then he will be met by what looked like a legitimate welterweight, in Mayweather who will undoubtably be the stronger man.

It may be Pac's only chance to get any work done on the inside, and when Mayweather isn't tying him up, he will use his guile and defense to make Pac hit gloves and miss.

Once Pac begins to gas, observed by his lack of aggression in the second half of the fight, Mayweather will be able to seemlessly pick him apart from a comfortable distance and possibly knock him out. And when Pac rushes in, he'll be met with some sharp right uppercuts that will further deter him from getting inside and ruin his game plan.

I don't think this fight will be as close as people want it to be. I think Mayweather has a better challenge in Mosley and POSSIBLY Cotto depending on how Cotto looks against Manny.

Cotto is skilled enough and tough enough to make an interesting fight and Mosley's size, skill, speed, and determination makes him likely Mayweather's most difficult opponent in the welterweight division.

But none of these guys are Roberto Duran either who had the skills to really put it to Floyd.

With that said, Paul Williams is no Tommy Hearns either.

No one has a straight up boxing advantage over Mayweather, his punch stat records are the best since it started tracking punches. The only advantage you can have it to maul and pound him, punch his hips elbows and shoulders and wear him down like castillo did. Manny has a really good chance of being aggressive enough, but I don't think he has the size to do that type of damage.

I think Duran would beat him. I don't trust enough in Mayweather's power to beat a welterweight Duran.

And you gotta be hard to beat Hearns.

If Pacquiao gets past Cotto, the odds will likely be relatively close for Floyd vs. Pacquiao, and I'll be putting a nice sum on Floyd when that happens.

    Smart money.

I hate to think that a guy like Mayweather can school Pacquaio, but it's entirely likely.

Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao will be a blowout pts. victory for PBF it's not even funny.
Why would anyone want to see this?

Floyd has everything except age over Manny. (But body wear defo goes to Pac)
& NO, Pac cannot K.O. Mayweather.

    Not interested, Go Cotto.

I think the best fight to be made is Mosley vs Mayweather.

Mosley said in the buildup for Margarito that when he fought Cotto, he wasn't at 100%. He later had an operation that removed a blood clot in his nose that was blocking 60% of the oxygen transport.

Whether or not Cotto had anything to do with that, I don't know...

    But that's what Shane said.

IT all depends how Pac goes against migwel koto ofcourse.

In my opine Pacquiao is toughest fight of Mayweather life.

Replace that with easiest. Cotto and Mosley pose more problems than Pacquiao, whether or not Pacquiao does beat Cotto (which is unlikely).

Yep, all signs point to Floyd putting on a nice exhibition over Pacquiao.

Why not let Pac pull a Floyd and NOT be aggressive?

Just sit back and wait for Floyd?
Counter Floyd coming in. I would just to **** Floyd off. Just hound him pre fight about being a wuss who never comes forward. Once in ring take off like a bat running and laughing just to provoke him more. Counter punch all night.

    How would that play out?

Mayweather is too big for Pacquiao. If he wasn't skilled it'd be a different story but he has size and excellent skills. If they were the same size it would be a much better fight.

    Always an excuse.

If PBF fought Mosely and dominated him like a fully expect that he would, it would be, Mosely was too old and that's why PBF beat him.

Ready made excuses from the haters.:-(
