It was mid 2004 in defense of his WBO 122 belt against the late Agapito Sanchez. He left the 122 division with an unblemished record of 23 wins, 17 by KO which was quite impressive on paper but 13 of his opponents have losing records. I can't believe some people are actually giving this guy a realistic chance against Pacman!:huh

Pacman don't need to be facing Floyd. Joan Guzman get the job done.

:rofl:rofl:rofl Guzman had an awesome records at 122, winning all his 23 fights, 17 by KOs but his opponents were mostly bums, 13 of whom have losing records such as Julio Jerez who had no win and 19 losses and Pascual Polanco who had 5 wins and 32 losses! The only notable names in his resume were Barrios, Juarez and Soto, all of whom he beat by lengths in boring road races, err, i mean fights but those fights happened at 130.

Guzman is a slick runner, err, boxer with amazing talent but he is not Marquez and definitely he's not better than Marquez. Marquez matches well with Pac because of his fighting style and underrated handspeed and power. JMM throws 4-5 punch combinations in counters with great accuracy, Guzman has none of that. Guzman is simply a poor copy of Floyd but not as elusive. Guzman can run all night against Pac but he can not hide. Pac will catch him eventually and once Pac catches him he's finished!:good

:rofl:rofl:rofl I wonder how Guzman's featherfists can made an elite fighter, not to mention Pac, quit on his stool? That guy has a very fertile imagination!

Guzman's power left him at 122. I don't doubt he can bother pac for a few rounds, but that's about it.

You're right there Buddy. But at least he retains his hand and foot speed, he can always run and pot shot to win by decision against C-B level fighters.:good

    Guzmans RESUME vs Valero RESUME!

I cant believe it GUZMAN fought somebody who has a record of

Julio Jerez who had no win and 19 losses and Pascual Polanco who had 5 wins and 32 losses

Will somebody pls confirm if this is a joke!

This would make Valero's resume look like an ATG if you compare it to Guzmans resume!!! :rofl:lol:

It's not a joke, you can check it at boxrec boxing records. I am actually amused that some people are taking Guzman seriously.

T/S and somebody stupid said PAC is ducking GUZMAN!

If I remember his fight. He can actually be called GUZRUN vs CALDERUN!

Winner goes up two weight divisions and fights PBF!

pbf will again not follow the agreed weight!
    pbf wins!
pbf fans celebrate as if he beat a true blue 147pounder! :hey:hi:
