Chief Cotto Sparring Partner: "Pacquiao Is Making A Big Mistake Fighting Cotto"

    "Pacquiao has never faced a welterweight like Cotto. When Cotto hits him, he is going to run. When he lands the hook to the body or the face of Pacquiao, he is going to see stars. Pacquiao is going to regret getting into the ring with Cotto. There are times when I'm instructed to exchange punches with Cotto against the ropes. The sad thing is, I have to do it knowing that sooner or later he is going to hit me with two or three good blows. And the fact is, it is difficult to continue. He is well elusive and efficient with his counters. His defense is amazing. I would not want to be Pacquiao."

    Im wondering too about their sparring in general.
    Pacquiao has been sparring the unbeaten,top young light to LM to middleweight Shawn Porter,former Lightweight champ Castillo(who has won 4 fights this year at welter),and top ranked lightweight Unbano Antillon.

    Whereas Cotto is sparring these nobodies?

    This is Cotto's sparring partner?? REALLY?! He should've at least asked Valero. He could've become a better sparring partner than Abril.

    first of all wasn't Pac ko'd and has a couple of looses in fights early in his career that we all ignore, dont be so quick to judge

    second the kid is probably a fast south paw or something im am not sure but there's a reason he is there
