still better than the fighters on there who except for 1 or 2 have less than zero chance of beating mundine.but who cares the contender is boxing soap opera.boxers chosen as much for their colourful backgrounds than ability. i mean Nader Hamden:roflhes what 37?no disrespect but what the **** is doing but taking up a spot that could be filled by a young up and comer.but hes mundines mate from the mosque so gets a gig.just enjoy the soap opera with SMA's antics and whatnot and enjoy the fight at the end knowing the winner gets 25k a car and 250k to lose to mundine at SMW and mundine wont fight his mandatory at MW Sturm.
We will see how therest of the series goes. Im actually training in the same gym as Kariuki, so I'd like to see him fight soon.
One interesting aspect of the whole contender series was the team selections. Hamden & Oganov were 2 of the last 3 chosen, with Oganov the last man standing to be picked. I thought Billy Hussein would of picked Nader nearly 1st up. Bad blood anyone know?
It was almost as if they picked the teams backwards to certain extent. Maybe the teams where already selected, I was a bit suprised when i saw nader and victor in the last 3 standing.
