What if Valuev decides to fight tall?

Thats my big worry, Haye has never struck me as the type to follow a gameplan and think things through carefully.

If Haye uses his feet consistently and uses a quit while you are ahead approach to exchanges, he could run away with a points decision. He has the speed and athleticism to do it.

He will likely get drawn into firefights at some point though, and that will be the real test.

    Don't think he's got a choice mate he's 7 feet 2!!!!!

In all seriousness I think he will fight tall.

Steve Bunce actually made a good poin that his shoe's are so pick they actually add about 2 inches to his height!

He will have to choose number 2. Go for the KO. If it's a boring jab fight, Valuev will win. Valuev will try and keep this at distance, watch him load up on the jab. Valuev doesn't have to be a pound for pound hitter, he only has to jab, keep Haye off and land a big shot now and again anywhere. Fighting away from home, against a big durable guy, I'm fairly confident all the hype and bad mouthing from Haye is going to come back and bite him. Haye to fall apart second half of the fight. Valuev points or TKO.

What if Valuev just leans in the corner and lets Haye bomb away for three rounds. What if Valuev does a rope a dope on Haye. What will happen to Haye after he gets tired?

I think this would be the most stupid thing that Valuev could do!

He doesn't need to get hit.

If he does that I would put my mortgage on him getting knocked sparko!!!

It's all very well having a great body and be defined, ripped or whatever you want to call it. However, those muscles need oxygen and as the fight goes on Haye will get tired. Also heavily muscled people (built up) are usually not as durable and cannot take the knocks that naturally big folk can.

Even so allowing someone with Haye's power to lay into you is unwise!

If Haye goes in there and bombs Valuev out within a few round that would be astounding to me.

I would almost be able to imagine how the Dempsey-Willard audience felt, even though it doesn't quite match up.

He could do it and it would be mighty impressive. Just don't know what happens to Haye when this plan doesn't work and he slows down.

Strategy? There is no ****ing strategy for this god awful fight. David Haye is going to be younger and more active. This big pile of dog **** is going to stink the joint out while hugging and jabbing like an oversized older and less talented John Ruiz. This fight should not be happening, and Valuev should be banned from the sport. He lost to a 90 year old Holyfield. Come on.
