5'10" was the "promotional" height. But he really is only 5'8". Not a short man, but far from what people consider large. I'm sure many early fighters that fought him judged him based on height and got destroyed as a result.

I remember watching one of his earlier fights and he was listed at 5'11, but the commentator was saying he was probably more like 5'10. Then he went on to say that Mike himself would say he was 6'0.

    5'10" ???
No way, that's just hype they put on him at the beginning of his career so sportswriters would take him seriously as a heavyweight.

Lennox Lewis was at least 11 or 12 inches taller than him. :D

Come to think of it, Lewis was easily a foot taller.

And now that you mention Lewis, look at his physique. Huge legs again.

Guys, it was a typo in the listing for sure, Tyson is 4'10" not 5'10"... hell of a TANK though.

How tall was Lewis? 7' 4" or 7'5"?

5'8" was "promotional" height too. No way was he that tall. I saw him on Oprah and she's much taller than him. Oprah's only 5'6", maybe 5'8" in heels. But Tyson had shoes on too. He's anything from 5'2" to 5'6" maximum.
If he was really 5'8", with his build, he'd weigh about 310 pounds ripped. :D

I know he had thighs but look at the lower portion of his leg. certainly out of proportion to the top half of his body. Still got the job done though. Haye has a lot of power in his legs too. Mike was more squat and so Haye's legs are gonna be longer. I'm 6 ft 4 myself and have trained for years and years. Over time i have increased my strentgh no end but have put on hardly any size. size is irrelevant. its all about muscle density. Haye's balance issues stem more from his wide stance in my opinion.

Tyson used to wear high heels for all his head to head photo shoots.

At only 4'7 it's amazing he got as far as he did.

Keep in mind guys, JEAN MARC MORMECK almost had that dude OUT.

    OUT

    OUT

    OUT!!1!!one!1!

That guy on the right in the pic, the black guy who is supposedly going to beat this giant, LOL. Jesus, i cant wait for this fight so Valuev can shut Hayes mouth and let the big boys Valuev and Vitali fight each other, cause honestly, i wanna watch a fight between 2 giant men like Valuev vs. Vitali, not some dude who would get starched in 3 rounds by either Klit *cough* Haye *cough*

Anyone else surprised how small the size difference seems to be? Maybe bc Haye is so ripped (compared to Valuev)?
