Floyd retired, let the smoke clear allowed the real fighters to take the risk and do the work, the winner of Pac vs Cotto has a right to the lions share, at this point Floyd retired to avoid having to face Williams, Margarito, Cotto while they were still on top of their game.

To me Floyd doesnt give the fans what they pay to see, He doesnt sell many tickets to his own fights, he does well when the other guy has a huge following, let me put it to you this way people will dish out there money to see Manny long before they will Floyd.

you know it and I do, I do not recall one single Floyd fan from this forum ever announcing they got tickets to see him fight live, I wonder why?

 

What exactly is supposed to hinge on the answer to your question? If you're set on the answer to the question, go dig up the answers and post them. The same way Pay-Per-View sales can be presented as evidence. Like Floyd doing a million buys, for instance.

DLH -PAC/ 17 million in gate revenue, 62million in PPV revenue

DLH-Mayweather- 19million in gate revenue, 120million in PPV revenue

Pac-hatton- 8million at the gate, 850,000 PPV's sold

Mayweather -Hatton- 10 million at the gate, 920,000 PPVS sold

Pac-Marquez- 400,000 buys

Mayweather- Marquez- 1million buys.

Mayweather clearly does superior numbers to Pacquiao. Even if you want to try and illogically claim, that its the other guys fans who are doing all of the purchasing, isn't it kind of funny that all buy more when Mayweather is on the card.

if Floyd really is the draw than Cotto vs Pac shouldnt do bigger numbers.
