Oscar wasn't shot but he was nowhere near his best. Shot was when he fought pac. Plus drained.. Prime oscar ko void in 10

 

Oscars always been 1 dimensional, watch the Quartey and Whitaker fights, slick fighters have always shown Oscar up, his legs probably werent quite the same as his younger days, but lets not forget Oscar had massive size advantages, his choice of ring, his choice of gloves

 

I don't see how you can say he didn't have footwork.. he managed to corner one of the craftiest fighters of all time on several occasions

 

Oscar was about the size as Khan at lightweight and junior welter.
Why doesn't everyone talk about Khan's size advantage? Because it's really Oscar's power that differentiates them.

Oscar chose puncher's gloves against Floyd. Floyd would have picked those ridiculous pillows he shows up with often.

 

roach mentions that oscar cannot pull the trigger when he trained oscar for floyd. so at this point, roach already knew that even a 130/135 version of pac would beat the version of oscar that he trained for floyd. but it still was a capable oscar when we saw that he still has the capacity to decision a fringe welterweight contender in steve forbes.

 

Of course this wasn't the Oscar of old, thats why Freddie Roach wanted Pac to fight him. The Oscar that fought Floyd was more of a promoter than a fighter at that point. But he wasn't SHOT. He had enough in the tank to bust Floyds nose and eye up. A Shot Oscar would've been TKOd by Floyd.

Once Roach made him come down to 147 to fight Pac, that pretty much did it. But yeah Oscar wasn't Prime when he fought Floyd.

I was surprised that Oscar did so well against Floyd. When he fought Mayorga i thought he looked on the down slope.

 

Oscar was an elite fighter that night. When floyd played defensive on the ropes, Oscar handspeed in combinatiosn was impressie, he just couldnt hit Floyd.

Floyd made Oscar look bad becasue he was more skilld than Oscar and faster. DLH thought he was just simply gonna walk down Mayweather and batter him and it didnt work that way.

Shot no but he sure as hell didnt have half the handspeed he once had and couldnt move his feet like he used to. Prime Oscar beats Mayweather comfertably.
