He quit, he gave up. Pac stole away the last little bit of heart Oscar had for boxing. The more I think about it, he wasn't too gassed, he wasn't too hurt, he just didn't want anymore and gave up.

If he wasn't hurt at all why QUIT?! He may not be seriously HURT as in he needs to be rushed to the nearest hospital but no stupid human being will enjoy being punched all night and say...

"You know what guys. I may have black and blue face but I'm not really hurt. REALLY! I just want to quit!" :rofl:lol:

the Pac that fought Hatton was stronger than the Pac taht fought DLH, grew more into the weight, yes despite him being a 140lber. People forget that in the same year Pac ofught DLH at 147, he was fighting at 130lb. Against Cotto he's gonna be even bigger n more powerful!

So your saying Oscar is bitter, childish, and ungrateful that's why he chose Pacquiao.

To thank Roach for training him against Floyd. Hell he even looked good against Floyd. So Roach did a pretty good job. Hell Roach has more of an axe to grind than Oscar. Oscar said that Roach would be his full time trainer during the Mayweather fight. Well what does he do after. Goes back to Floyd senior who makes Oscar look like crap against Forbes.

He also wanted revenge against Pacquiao because Arum gave him a better deal and he couldn't.

Ha nice job defending your hero. You made him sound worse than I did.

Face it Oscar was in it for the money. Him being filthy rich isn't a good reason. Theirs plenty of rich people who want more money. Look at Sugar Ray Leonard. His ego had something to do with it as well. He wanted to look good before he retired. Thats why he picked Pacquaio and not a more dangerous opponent. Until Pacquiao ruined his plans of course:lol:

Of course money played a big part in it.

Just because a person is filthy rich, it doesn't mean they don't want MORE MONEY.

"Why does Bill Gates still make them ****ing computers?"

But there's also ego and being addicted to the limelight and the event. DLH's been in front of big crowds and a huge star since the mid 90s. Not easy to just walk away from it.

Very, very true. Oscar didn't look hurt to me, or to the rest of the world. He quit because at the very moment, he knew his fate no matter how he lost, his desire for boxing had reached it's final moment, and drifted away.

First, Pac is a dangerous opponent and I said before that fight it wasn't a smart move and I had a good feeling Oscar was going to lose. Oscar went after this guy for revenge for stiffing him as his promoter and hated Roach. Sure it backfired, obviously. Like I said, it was a stupid fight to chose for him at that stage in his career. A man with that much money doesn't NEED anymore, he's got pride and an ego like everyone and that got in the way. Of course, the money doesn't hurt. Take it however you want it. Bitter, jealous, whatever, it was more emotional then financial. It happens to the best of us.

Oscar was gonna fight no matter what. He had a rematch with Floyd lined up before Floyd retired. So he went to the other main attraction in boxing and that was Pac. It wasn't anything personal. It was all financial. It wasn't even his idea. The fight happening came from Larry Merchant when he made a comment about it being a dream fight and people would pay big money for it.

Hey if you could read minds I'll believe you. But guess what you can't. All the evidence points to Oscar taking this fight for financial reasons and egotistical reasons.

You say he hates Roach. But their are no evidence to support it. Roach did his best training Oscar and he helped Oscar looked good against Floyd.

Pac also never wronged Oscar. He chose Arum because Arum had a better deal and Arum is just a better Promoter. Which isn't hurting him much by the looks of things.

Again you act like you know him. Just because your Avatar has Oscar's signature. That doesn't mean you know him.
