I'm surprised Valuev is down at 215 really. He's been as high as 248 and 210 in his last fight which was a horrific display of deadness. I don't think it's helping him. I think he's better in the 320's.
For Haye to win he will have to do it within the first 3-5 rds, otherwise his muscle bulk will wear him out.
As if bodybuilders are supposed to be top heavy. Silly statement. This ain't the 70's anymore. Arnie was top heavy, but bodybuilders have legs like trunks in the modern times.
This guy basis his opinion of off Rafael. Guy's an idiot. First and foremost, he scored the Froch vs Dirrell fight for Froch. Discredited Joe Louis by referring to him as a "borderline Heavyweight." Nothing new from this fat clown.
atsch I scored it once with zero bias. It was close, in fact I had it a draw but that's being nice to Froch not Dirrell. Dirrell was winning on clean punching and easily out-boxing Froch. But he held in the middle rounds, and didn't do enough to win them. He woke up toward the end of the fight but still gave away the last round. Rafael is a clown.
Too bad physiques don't determine fights. Despite his definition, Haye's stamina has never been his strongsuit and it could be his undoing tomorrow. Haye's weakness is Valuev's biggest strength and a major factor imo. If Haye doesn't spark him early, I reckon it could become a very slopppy affair with Valuev getting a late stoppage.
Again, the same morons accuse Vitali of taking steriods when he only tested positive in the Ams..................James Toney though is worshiped by some on this site & he was caught TWICE, losing the belt he won from Ruiz because of it. Weird how those same morons never point that out when discussing Toney :huh
Watched it live & thought Dirrell won by an embarrassing margin. Watched it sober the next day and thought Dirrell still won but a bit closer. Watched the ITV4 broadcast of both fights to soak up the atmosphere of the tournament and give Froch a last chance, but same result. After 3 viewings I couldn't make any case whatsoever for Froch winning that fight. Champ or not. Sorry
Noone won. One guy tried to get away with stealing the belt by running and making small spurts before running or falling for dear life. The other tried to make a fight of it and came forward relentlessly, but was too slow to catch the fleeing foe with more than grazing shots here and there. _____________ Noone won. I had it 6-6 in a fight that both deserved to lose. In that case I think it is ok the belt stays with Froch, because it is better pretending this never happened. And if it never happened - Froch stays with the belt.
I've flip flopped on the Dirrell/Froch fight. First time I watched it, I was pissed off and gave it to one of the guys (I can't even remember but I'm sure it was Froch). The 2nd time, I tried to be as focused as possible...and by the end of the fight I gave it to Dirrell out of frustration. Neither guy stood out...and unfortunately that means one fan base is going to get the raw deal.
