Good chance to make some good money will be to bet on Valouev by knockout late, or perhaps early? Haye has zero stamina, glass chin, wide punches, no defense, lunges, off balance, etc.
have gone for Haye on points, but i'm sticking my neck out gere and counting on david to have his stamina sorted out. otherwise all bets are off in my book. he keeps getting called a smart fighter and a natural warrior (by himself here) so we shall see. speed + stamina gets him the win.
Unfortunately I see Valuev leaning on Haye at every opportunity and having 7 excess stone of sweaty Russian on Haye will surely take its toll. My prediction Valuev UD 12
Pains me to say it but I stand by my original prediction. Valuev by stoppage anywhere from 1-12. As big a fan as I am (probably my favourite active fighter) I do not trust Hayes punch resistance at all, even against a non-puncher like Valuev. Squeeky bum time tonight.
My earlier 230 lb for Haye was quickly done before Sky corrected themselves, so yes Haye is 218 and only a pound heavier than vs Bonin and three pounds vs Barrett.
haye to build up an early lead then gas late on or get too gung ho and get caught. dont think haye is disciplined enough to fight the way holyfield/chagaev etc have done, and i cant see valuev not landing something substantial at some point in the fight. hayes a great fighter, but you can tell he really wants the to grab the headlines with a spectacular KO win and i think that'll be his downfall.
HEART: Haye by TKO HEAD: Valuev on points (split decision, probably) SMART BET: A draw (King has been blabbing about 'the return match' in England)
